1) went to an event the other night. for personal reasons, i had avoided situations in which i had to meet and interact with many strangers.
anyway met quite a few interesting people there. at one point i was chatting with a few much younger ladies, one of whom was a script writer. i talked about my unwinding. she said that's an interesting and new idea to her. lucky them. younger generations have had it easy compared to us from tougher yesteryears.
besides, of course it's something they know nothing about. why should they? at their age they are in the middle of the winding stage, and are probably having a good time doing it.
