Two women are dead and a man is in hospital in critical condition after a fire on Kimbermount Dr. in Scarborough. (DON PEAT, Toronto Sun)
Two women are dead and a man is clinging to life in hospital after a midday house fire in Scarborough.
Toronto Fire says one woman was found dead inside and a second woman succumbed to her injuries after being pulled from the fire at 41 Kimbermount Dr.
The man was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition, Toronto Fire Capt. Mike Strapko said.
Neighbours along the street said flames were shooting out of the house s front door and side kitchen door.
The cause of the two-alarm fire is not yet known.
The office of the Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating.
